Looking for a Year 9 maths and science tutor in Officer, Pakenham or Berwick? Year 9 is often the year both subjects get noticeably harder. Our Year 9 tutoring runs in small groups of no more than three, so there is time to slow down on the topics that matter.
Year 9 maths brings graphs, index laws and more formal algebra, and Year 9 science leans on that maths more than before. A student who is struggling in science is often really struggling with the maths inside it. We work on both together.

Questions parents ask
Why does my child suddenly find Year 9 hard?
Year 9 builds on algebra and number skills from earlier years. If one of those is weak, several new topics become hard at once. We find that gap and fix it first.
Do you teach Year 9 science as well as maths?
Yes. Many students come to us for both, and the two subjects support each other.
Where are Year 9 tutoring lessons held?
At our tutoring space at 29 Officedale Rd, Officer, a short drive from Pakenham, Berwick, Beaconsfield and Clyde North. We also offer online Year 9 maths tutoring across Victoria.
How big are the classes?
Small groups have no more than three students. If your child needs more focused help, one-on-one lessons are available.
