We teach science from primary school through to VCE Chemistry and Physics, in Officer and online. Groups have no more than three students, so every question gets a proper answer.

Science often gets hard because of the maths inside it: ratios, rearranging formulas, units and graphs. We teach the science and the maths it depends on together, so students stop losing marks in the working.

Science we teach

Science tutoring for Officer, Pakenham, Berwick and Clyde North

We are at 29 Officedale Rd, Officer, about 10 minutes from Pakenham and Berwick, and around 15 to 20 minutes from Clyde North. Officer station is on the Pakenham line, and students who would rather not travel can have the same lessons online.

Whether your child goes to Officer Secondary College, Pakenham Secondary College, Berwick Secondary College or Wulerrp Secondary College, we follow the Victorian Curriculum and the VCE study designs, so lessons match what is being taught in class.

How our science lessons work

Groups of three, at most

Every student gets real attention. One-on-one lessons are available too.

The maths inside science

We make sure formulas, units and graphs are solid, because that is where many science marks are lost.

Parents can see progress

Our online portal shows homework, answers and progress by topic, so you always know where things stand.

Open all year

We teach through the school holidays as well as during term.

Questions parents ask

Which VCE sciences do you teach?

Chemistry and Physics, Units 1 to 4. For Years 7 to 10 we cover the full general science course, and primary science for younger students.

My child understands the science but loses marks in tests. Can you help?

Often the marks go on calculations, units or written explanations. We practise exam-style questions and show students how to set out answers clearly.

How big are the classes?

Small groups have no more than three students. If your child needs more focused help, one-on-one lessons are available.

Can lessons be online?

Yes. We teach online across Victoria, so if the drive does not suit a particular week, the lesson can happen from home.
